September usually means autumn by luck (?)
this day was quite warm so me and youngest could take a swim in our
“secret” lake where you usually are alone.
Water was 22 at surface, a bit colder when you got
deeper. Rather sad to go up as you realise that it probably was the
last swim this summer.
We walked more silent than usually to our car
trying to save this moment in our minds.
Sooo relaxing to lay down and let your mind work freely. Thoughts calm down into a mathematical point and time stands still.
Weather is changing outside snow is melting. This will be the last chance of having snow to pour on the stones as you do in winter, gets a slow build up of humidity instead of that instant thing when shovel water.
Somehow I feel a bit sadness when winter loosing it's grip rather the same as it feels in autumn when leaves are falling, change in season affects you in many ways...
The Mignon Ducks really likes that sun is coming back and give them some piece of grass to go through and search for something interesting. Then next moment snow is falling again...
I saw the film today with my two oldest. It's really an ephic piece of motion picture that thrills your mind.
Since we have the some sort of feeling for good and bad we all liked it... a lot.
This could be old and well known but I like it. Feel the resemblance from a child when you have been away and they just want to have a hug.
Oldest presented the clip for me and I miss her a lot since she moved to study at a University far away. We are good friends who enjoy discussing all kinds of topics and also watching Dr Who together :)
I haven't got many friends at all. Hahaha and it's my own fault. Simply because I'm such an odd fellow that likes loneliness and haven't got this social need for beeing with other peoples. I just like to be by my own and in my own thoughts.. in the woods :)
So it's spring again and the blossom trees are full of flowers. Back up in north where I grew up we had none of these flower trees in spring.. hmm. Yes we had “Hägg” I don't know the English word for it got this big white blossoms that smells so.. and then a black berry that was so bitter you couldn't eat. None of these “Hägg” trees lives here in the south and I long for that smell from one of these big trees in spring.
In a way here in the south there is less smell from everything, perhaps in north you live more intense and have to use more fragrances to search for bees to breed... Perhaps we all from the north have that extra something :)
Hahaha! I am an expert on putting up things to do next day..
One of my favourite things to do as late as possible is this Tax declaration.
Usually I spend the evening on the very last day to calculate and write down all the figures and then drive without any concern on speed limits.. to that special mailbox for Tax declaration who close at midnight and put the envelope inside just at 24:00. The guys who close it use to say “hey you are the last one this evening”
Nowadays we have this fantastic internet where you could do it all online and don't have to search for certain forms in advance. This evening was the very last day and I started loosely without anything prepaired at seven and now have sent it all in including two companies declaration hahaha! Such a relief to have done this :)
Now It's only to wait for the tax authority to start asking questions..
Couldn't take the picture with my glasses on so I maybe look a bit uncool :)
History is so interesting. The house in the background of this picture have a special history and so it is where ever you go. I have always had this interest in all things that can be traced into history. The substance is endless although I have a special feeling for modern history, specially things that happened in the years your parents lived.
My father who has been dead for so many years always wondered what happened to a Tugboat he worked on and today with internet always online I could spell the same question at a forum and got this strict answer of her history, that this boat lays at the bottom. Sunk in the same bay where she got her name from.
Feels both good and in a way sad when the ice on the lakes are gone, but a new spring is definitely coming.
Got out in this bike that I bought late last autumn just by chance. When this model originally come up at the market in 1984 it was in a period when I moved my interest from bikes to sailing boats and it was nothing I wanted to have.
But it starred with Tom Cruise in Top Gun..
I remember I saw the film alone in a small movie theater in Luleå when it had moved from the big screens. I wanted just to have seen it back in 1986 and it was as I expected filled with so many errors, besides that lump story, my concern was then on flight technicallities and manouvers. I went out and thought that I would newer see another Hollywood film again.. but somehow I did :)
Star in the film was in a way this Kawasaki.. The same model I now have in my hands.
And by chance? I bought at a Second Hand shop this winter a leather jacket quite similar to the one Tom Cruise had in that film and when hurdling out at this curwy way today in that jacket I got this song in my head.. hahaha but I wore a helmet :)
