Summer evening

Shhhh.. can you hear the silence?

Me and youngest took an evening bath this Friday. She's always happy to go bathing and we were lucky to have this beach alone once again. There are others who also knows where it is but they probably only come here at daytime when sun shines straight on.

Temperature was warm and water smelled good like it does in a warm summer evening when it is totally calm and no wind mixes the air. I thought that this beach, this evening, would have been a perfect place for a loving couple to have a secret bath together. Had to brush up some old memories from my mind :-)

At home we shared a pair of ice creams in the garden and I thought that moment like this is what summer is all about.

What a lovely way to spend a Summer evening, the water must have felt so nice on your skin, so soothing and relaxing...quiet except for the sound of the water as you moved through it...I can almost feel it and hear it...

Nice spending time with your daughter, she will have many happy memories of times spent with you, just like I have with my Dad...ice cream in the garden on a Summer's eve sounds lovely.

Yes nice for a loving couple to have a secret bath together...very romantic, you will have to find someone to share it with M dear. ♡

I thought about that it is fresh water when we had a swim this evening. Really feels soft and delicate, almost like silk against your skin.

Have been really tied up with renovations recently, but your last posts reminded me that we really ahd wanted to go to Sweden for a weekend... hm... wonder if that's gonna happen. probably not, since we're renovating one room after another...

But surprising that you get such hot weather in Sweden. have also experienced it and remember f.ex. one year when we were at Astrid Lindgrens värld... it was just so hot and no real breeze comming in. the weather hasn't been cold the past few weeks here, but it was nothing at all like you are describing it...! there was still a lot of wind and you also could have called it autumn... so i guess Denmark never really gets a hot as Sweden... even in lapland it sometimes seems warmer than in Denmark! It's just that this is a kingdom of islands with the wind constantly blowing around them!

Nice you spent such nice times with your kids! like diane said, it's not just now, they will also have lots of nice memories for the rest of their lives...

I regret that I´ve spent so much time on working in my earlier life. Now when coming to age;-) priority has changed..

Yes Sarah Sofia you can often hear in the weather forecast at summer that warmest temperature in Sweden today was measured in Haparanda..

It's when the Russian heat comes in from east..
