A stroll in the woods

The plan was to search for some mushrooms to do some stew.

Of course I had to climbed up to to the top of a hill instead and found this.

They where built in the 1940's and where mannered mostly by women. So many hours they must have spent there searching the sky for unwanted planes. But.. The war never come to Sweden.

Decided to not climb up today..

Wondering of some of their thoughts are still left in the cabin, did they find a good man..

View from below was not so bad.

M, the view is beautiful; nice that you wondered about those women, hope they did find a good man and lived happy lives.

Did you find any wild mushrooms for your stew? :) xoxoxo

Yes, there are a lot of mushrooms to find in the woods this autumn.

There are only two wild spices that I can definitely be sure of what it is.. so I stick to this chantarelle and the funnel-chantarelle hahaha, don't know the English word for that one.

Fried in butter and stewed with cream they really tasted good :)

Sounds delicious, I usually add some freshly ground pepper and a tiny sprinkle of nutmeg. :) xoxoxo
